Proposals for the future of leadership scholarship: Suggestions in Phronesis

“Phronesis” can be summarized as “wisdom in determining ends and the means of attaining them.” This unique article originated from comments made by scholars on a podcast hosted Dr. Scott Allen titled “Phronesis: Practical Wisdom for Leaders.” Here, we propose 10 specific agendas focused future scholarship field leadership studies, authored some these scholars. Topics include how to think about effective “the age emotion” where truth seem up debate; topical suggestions expanded study—such more comprehensively studying place space, indigenous wisdom, equity issues, games that teach, focusing lifespan perspectives; better integrating with professional settings leading occurs; effectively framing what it even lead follow.
